Modern Websites — Dornbirn, Austria

Websites that work in everyday life.

Fixed price. Source code is yours.
Live in 14 days if the content arrives on time.

What you probably recognise

Three things that have
become normal in the
web business.

And really shouldn't be. If you recognise any of them, you already know why we started Ventrax.

C01

Time sheets

You pay, the result stays vague.

At the end of the month comes an invoice for many hours — and no one can tell you exactly what for. Hourly billing is convenient for the agency. For you it's a lucky dip.

Fixed price, not lucky dip
C02

Vendor lock-in

Your website belongs to the vendor.

It runs on Wix, Shopify or Squarespace — and technically belongs to the provider. If you want to leave, you take nothing with you. No source code, no data in a sensible format, no migration.

Source-code handover contractually
C03

Template recycling

You look like everyone else.

You pay for a "custom" website — and get a purchased template that's in circulation dozens of times over. The surcharge was for the consulting, not the substance.

Hand-coded, not recycled

What we deliver

From one hand.
No subcontractors.

You talk to one person — from the first call to going live. No handing off to subcontractors in other countries, no four different email addresses for a single question.

Core promise
C01

Source-code handover

At project end you get the complete repository on your own GitHub account. If you want to leave tomorrow, you take everything with you — code, content, configuration, documentation. No vendor lock-in, no exit fee.

Contractually guaranteed.
C02

Design

Tailored to your brand — no stock photo slider, no template that ten others already use.

C03

Development

Hand-coded on a modern web stack. Fast, accessible, SEO-optimised, GDPR-compliant.

C04

EU hosting

Servers in Frankfurt, no US transfer, automatic SSL certificates, cancellable monthly.

C05

Maintenance

Security updates, backups, monitoring. One contact, one bill, no ping-pong.

C06

Content integration

We take your text and images and build them in. You don't have to learn a CMS if you don't want to.

From first call to launch

14 days.
Four steps.

14 days are realistic if you're ready with content. If the photos are still with the photographer, it takes longer — we tell you that openly, rather than promising a deadline that breaks.

DAY 01–02

First call & concept

We listen, ask questions, look at your current site (if any) and write a concept document with a fixed price. You sign or you don't — no prepayment.

Concept PDF + fixed price
DAY 03–08

Design & development

We build the site on a preview URL that only you see. You check in every second day and give feedback. We apply it. No PDF mock-ups, no wireframes — the real site in the browser.

Preview URL · real code
DAY 09–12

Content integration

You deliver text, images, logos. We build it all in, optimise images automatically (WebP, lazy loading), handle SEO tags, schema.org and accessible labels.

Full site · SEO ready
DAY 13–14

Go live & handover

Domain is connected, SSL certificate activated, final performance tests. You get the repository, hosting access, a short walkthrough if you want — and the invoice.

Live · source code in your hands

Frequently asked

What clients ask us
before signing.

Six questions that come up in almost every first call — and our direct answers.

01 Do I really get the source code?

Yes, completely. After project end you get the full Git repository on your own GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket account. You can continue the site with any other provider tomorrow, without rewriting a single letter.

02 What does monthly maintenance actually cost?

That depends on the size and tech of the site — the amount is stated as a fixed monthly fee in your offer, before you sign. Maintenance includes security updates, backups, monitoring, small content changes, and performance checks. Larger rebuilds are quoted separately — no hidden hourly bills. Cancellable monthly.

03 Can you take over an existing website?

Yes. We review your current code, see where things are burning, and give you a fixed price for take-over or modernisation. If the old site is a Wix / Shopify lock-in, we build a new one in parallel, then migrate the content and switch over.

04 What's the difference to Wix or Squarespace?

Three things: you own the code, not the vendor. The site is measurably faster (real optimisation instead of generic templates). And you pay once — not forever monthly to Wix. If Wix is enough for you, build on Wix. If you want something of your own, we're the right address.

05 How long does it actually take?

A small presence site: 14 days if you deliver content quickly. A medium SME site: 3 to 5 weeks. A custom system: 6 weeks to 3 months depending on complexity. We only promise a date we can actually keep.

06 What happens if I want to change something later?

Small changes (text, images, new section) are included in the maintenance plan. Bigger rebuilds are quoted separately as a fixed-price mini project. If you want to edit content yourself, we can optionally add a simple CMS — change content without touching code.
